Laura Christian, Vice President of Learning Experiences, joined DISCOVERY Children’s Museum in 2013. She received her B.S. in Education from Eastern Michigan University, and previously served as an elementary school teacher. Christian provides leadership for the Museum’s five education departments, and she is responsible for internal and external programming oversight, professional development instruction, and management of staffing resources. Christian plays a key role in the content development of new exhibits and programs, and she collaborates with community organizations to plan educational partnerships.
