This presentation is designed to give teachers a tool that will help their students to understand how to break-down the essential components of a Supreme Court Case. In this session we will analyze a Supreme Court case using the acronym NIMDOPIO to help students understand how “major political policies and landmark Supreme Court cases impact US History.” This activity also includes a writing component to help students organize, develop, and express, their opinion based on a constitutional issue.
