Kathy Hays is an Outreach Coordinator for the OER Project where she is fortunate to work with educators using the Big History Project or World History Project. Prior to joining the OER Project team, Kathy taught world history, English, geography and leadership for 32 years to middle and high school students in Mesa Arizona. The last five years she taught BHP exclusively, embracing the opportunity to be the lead learner in the classroom and helping students to develop critical thinking, reading and writing skills. When not spending time with the OER Project, you’ll find her on the yoga mat, hiking or watching baseball.
