Vallarie Larson has been a teacher for over 27 years. She has taught mostly social studies but has also taught English and Special Education at the middle school level. She earned her B.A. from the University of Wyoming and her Master of Arts in Administration from the University of Nevada. She is a National-Board Certified Teacher. Vallarie has served on the Northern Nevada Council for Social Studies for over 12 years. Recently, she left the classroom to join the 21st Century Learning Division at Washoe County School District.
