2021 NNCSS Conference: Untold Histories - Broadening the Narrative

 

The Northern Nevada Council for the Social Studies (NNCSS) was established in 2004 under the leadership of Sue H. Davis and is an affiliate of the National Council for the Social Studies. NNCSS is a professional educator non-profit organization dedicated to supporting social studies education throughout Northern Nevada. The mission of NNCSS is to provide leadership, service and support for all social studies educators in Northern Nevada. This is accomplished through collaborative activities that allow for collegial support as well as expert assistance. The goals of NNCSS are to provide professional development for teachers and give efficacy to teachers through presentations at the annual teacher conferences.
